1940s Hamilton Gold Filled Rectangle

Great looking 1940s vintage Hamilton.  The gold filled case measures 35mm from lug tip to lug tip and 23mm wide without the crown.  The case looks good from the top with some plating wear on the lugs.  There is significant wear through on the back as seen in the photos.  The original dial is in very good condition with applied gold numerals and gold hands.  The domed acrylic crystal looks new.  The sparkling 19 jewel Hamilton grade 982 movement was serviced recently and runs, sets and keeps time properly.   The watch is fitted with a black leather strap.
